Rome Radio Partners, LLC, has an immediate opening for an Account Executive in our Sales Department to represent our six Award Winning radio stations.
This position is responsible for increasing sales with assigned accounts, while aggressively developing new customers in broadcast and digital media.
As an Account Executive, the ability to execute sales plans, maintain knowledge of competitive media, and be visible in the community including outside events, is required for success.
Outside sales experience is preferred. Good written and verbal skills are essential. The ideal candidate must be highly self motivated and willing to work positively on the behalf of their clients. A background in selling “direct” clients, advertising agencies, and automotive accounts would be helpful.
This position requires:
- Ability to work in a team environment, and have great interpersonal skills.
- Positive Attitude, Results Oriented, Outside sales calls in a fast paced environment.
- Prepare and deliver presentations.
- Discover opportunities for advertisers and develop a Return on Investment marketing plan.
- Daily discussions with management regarding successes and challenges.
- A Laptop Computer, and Cell Phone and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point , Excel. Experience with Marketron is a plus.
Minimum Education: Some College with Marketing/Advertising skills
Minimum Experience: 1-5 Years Sales Experience
Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record, and dependable transportation.
