Rome, Floyd best state high school graduation rate

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

The Georgia State Board of Education has released the graduation rates for the 2018-2019 school year.

Rome High School had a 93.3 percent rate, which is up from 90.48 percent the previous school year.

Floyd County Schools as a system also had a graduation rate of 93.3 percent.

Armuchee High has the highest percentage at 95.7, followed by Pepperell High at 95.4.

Model High’s graduation rate was 92.7 percent while Coosa High was at 90.1 percent.

The statewide graduation rate was 82 percent, which is an all-time high.
