Man accused of stealing from T-Ball team parents

A Rome man is accused of taking money from the parents of a T-Ball team.

According to the arrest warrant, 31-year old Corey Lee McDuffie of a Denson Lane address took approximately $876 to buy uniforms, parent shirts, a team party and other paraphernalia.

He then failed to provide any of those items to the parents and could not provide the money or receipts for the merchandise.

McDuffie is charged with eight counts of felony theft by conversion.
