Report: Man stole $11,000 in cell phones from Walmart

FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

An Augusta man is in the Floyd County Jail, accused of using a crowbar to break a cell phone security case at Walmart on Highway 411 in Rome.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 26-year old Tabares Tony Wadley caused of $500 in damage to the case, then put approximately $11,000 worth of cell phones in a book bag and left the store.

Wadley is charged with felony theft by shoplifting, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and felony 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
