Two arrested on drug charges

A Rome man and a Cedartown woman were jailed Friday on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 44-year old Earl Deshane Davis of a Van Tassel Drive address sold methamphetamine to a cooperating witness back on November 19.

Davis was also reportedly found with meth while being booked in at the jail.

He is charged with possession of meth, possession with the intent to distribute, the sale of methamphetamine, and crossing the guard line at the jail with drugs.

Meanwhile, 39-year old Tameika Monique Davis is accused of conspiring to sell meth, also on November 19.

She was found with ecstasy while in custody at the jail, according to the report.

She is charged with conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, possession of a controlled substance, and crossing the guard line at the jail with drugs.
