Three charged with enticing a minor online, one of them charged with human trafficking

Floyd County Police arrested three men Friday and Saturday on charges of criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation, sexual exploitation of children, obscene internet contact with a minor, and the use of a computer to entice a child.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 31-year old Joseph Qaadir Boone of Atlanta contacted someone he believed to be under the age 16 and enticed that individual for the purposes of sexual servitude.

Boone was additionally charged with human trafficking.

Meanwhile, 31-year old Joshua Michael Pointer of an Old Bluff Road address in Rome is accused of engaging in a graphic conversation with someone he believed to be 16 and then traveled to meet the child for sex.

Pointer was additionally charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

The third man arrested, 28-year old Matthew Christian Gray of Tallapoosa sent graphic pictures and video of himself to someone he believed to be 16 on a social media site.

He also asked the child for nude pictures and traveled to Floyd County to meet up for sex.

Gray was additionally charged with electronically furnishing obscene materials to minors.
