Rome High School’s Varsity Swim and Diving teams traveled to Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga. this past weekend to participate in the GHSA Swimming and Diving State Championships.
Nathan Medley brought home fourth place in the 200 free with a time of 1:45.50 and fifth place in the 100-yard fly with a time of 52.78.
Andre Durand, Hunter Erb, Abraham Figueroa and Nathan Medley brought home 13th place in the Boys 200 Yard Free Relay with a time of 1:35.43.
The boys also came in 17th place in the Boys 400 Yard Free Relay with a time of 3:34:25.
Rome High Divers Phillip Wooddell and Abigail Cooper brought home 10th and 14th place respectively.
