Despite a Tornado Warning being issued for Bartow County just after 1 a.m. Monday, the warning sirens did not go off.

WBHF Radio in Cartersville spoke to Sheriff Clark Millsap Monday afternoon.

The sheriff said a supervisor with Bartow 911 did not turn on the outdoor warning sirens.

He added the matter has been handled internally and it will not happen again.
