Silver Creek man Charged with Stealing Motorcycle After Being Found Asleep in I-59 Flea Market Building

(via WEIS Radio) On Monday DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the I-59 Flea Market on Highway 117 in Hammondville – after a caller reported a suspicious motorcycle parked at the business.

Upon arrival, deputies found the front door to be slightly open – as they were investigating the motorcycle, a search of the building was conducted and a male subject was found inside – fast asleep.

The motorcycle was found to be reported stolen out of Rome, Georgia – and as a result, the catnapping criminal was placed under arrest.

Timothy James Clark age 30 of a Silver Creek, Georgia address was transported to the DeKalb County (Alabama) Detention Center and he was booked in on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree.
