Report: Alabama man drove to Floyd County for sex with a minor

A Gaylesville, Alabama man was arrested Monday after he reportedly traveled to Floyd County to meet someone he believed to be a minor for sex.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 27-year old Michael William Daniel made contact with the person online, engaged in a sexually graphic conversation, sent lewd pictures, and asked for nude pictures in return.

Daniel is charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation, sexual exploitation of children, obscene internet contact with a child, furnishing obscene material to a minor and use of a computer to entice a child.
