FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A man initially arrested for DUI and open container was slapped with a felony charge after allegedly damaging the phone in the booking area of the Floyd County Jail Wednesday.
According to jail records, 74-year old Landon Ray Burgin of a Pleasant Valley Road address in Silver Creek broke the earpiece of the phone and then flushed the parts down the toilet.
Burgin is charged with interference with government property.
