On Tuesday afternoon Rome/Floyd Firefighters responded to Berryhill Road NW near the Floyd County Solid Waste dump after a vehicle fire was reported in the area.
Upon arriving on the scene, Firefighters located a fully involved burning truck pulled off the main road and an individual who needed medical aide (The extend of injuries is not known at the time of this report).
Floyd EMS arrived on the scene to further check out the individual. The cause of the fire was not specified at the scene.
