COVID-19 Exposure Closes Summerville Police Station

Due to a known COVID-19 exposure among front office staff the main lobby of the Summerville Police Department and the Summerville Probation Office will be closed until further notice in order to protect the general public and city employees.

It is hoped that the offices will be able to reopen towards the end of the week. In addition to this office closure, City of Summerville Municipal Court that was scheduled for July 28th, 2020 has been cancelled.

Those who were scheduled to appear in court will be contacted at a later time and their court date rescheduled.

As always, officers of the Summerville Police Department’s Patrol Division are conducting regular patrols and are available to respond to calls for service 24 hours a day.
