The entire Polk County community has been rallying around the Luke family as the 14-year-old daughter of girls softball head coach Steve Luke died in a horrific accident over the weekend.
According to a post on Coach Luke’s Facebook page, his oldest daughter Tori Luke passed away following a boating accident in Alabama.
Rockmart high school made the following statement:
“The Yellow Jacket Family is heartbroken. The Jacket Nation lost one of our students who was the daughter of our very own Coach Steve Luke and Coach Robin Luke in a tragic accident. Please send your thoughts and prayers to the Luke family but give them the space to process this great loss. There are no words for the sadness we all feel. #jacketnation”
