Late Monday morning Multiple Floyd County Police and Redmond EMS Responded to the area of Martha berry Blvd/HWY 27 near Armuchee Creek Cemetery Road (just past the Welcome to Rome Floyd County sign) after a vehicle was reported to have run off the road.
The vehicle, a red Scion, was found off the road in a tree line near a guard rail.
The cause of the accident was not specified at the scene, and the driver of the vehicle was transported via ambulance to Redmond to be further medically treated.
