[VIDEO] Floyd Development Authority votes to approve Southeastern Mills land purchase

On Monday morning the Development Authority of Floyd County held a special meeting at their office in the Manis Building Center to discuss a potential land purchase made by Southeastern Mills.

The location of the property is located in the South Floyd Industrial Park area, and encompasses 10.18 acres.

Back in 2018, Southeastern Mills purchased 15 acres in the South Floyd Industrial Park area, and at the time they were granted the option of purchasing an additional 28.945 acres.

The company would like to close on this purchase sometime in mid September.

All Development Authority members in attendance voted unanimously in favor of the motion to approve the Southeastern Mills land purchase.
