Monday afternoon, the community was invited to celebrate the opening of the indoor courts at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College with a ribbon-cutting event .
The new indoor court facility holds six standard USTA tennis courts with seating for more than 400 spectators.
The completion of the facility enhances opportunities to bid on major tournaments, particularly collegiate tournaments that mandate an indoor facility.
