Floyd County reports COVID-19-related death since Sunday

Another Floyd County resident has died from COVID-19, the seventh death reported by the Georgia Department of Labor since Sunday.

29 Floyd County residents have died since the start of the pandemic.

Floyd County also saw another 58 confirmed cases from Monday to Tuesday for a total of 2,086.

Looking at other nearby counties:

Bartow County is now at 2,292 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 67 total deaths.
Gordon County is now at 1,461 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 25 total deaths.
Chattooga County is now at 465 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 5 total deaths.
Polk County is now at 1,122 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, and 12 total deaths

Total Confirmed state cases are now at 258,354, up by 2,236 from the previous day.

Total state deaths are now at 5,262, up by 107 from Monday to Tuesday.
