A 24-year old Rome woman was arrested Friday evening for allegedly driving drunk with two children in the vehicle.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Anita L. Dupree also told one child to get out of the car, resulting in the child having to walk along a busy highway unattended before being spotted by passing police officer.

When Dupree was stopped by police on the Armuchee Connector, she reportedly resisted arrest and attempted to bite and kick at officers.

She also kicked the patrol vehicle cage, cracking it and causing it to bend forward.
