Staff Reports –

The Rome City Commission voted on an amendment update to the teen curfew ordinance on Monday night.

The ordinance prohibits anyone under the age of 17 from being out past 11 p.m. with some exceptions.

The Commission stated that these changes will allow some flexibility for our police officers with their continuous efforts to deal with some juvenile issues in-and-around our community.

The Commission voted unanimously in favor of the amendment update.

Another topic on the agenda was the Rome Christmas Parade and whether or not vendors could be allowed to operate during the event this year.

With no objections from any Commission members, It was decided that no vendors would be allowed to operate during the parade this year.
