STAFF REPORTS

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has issued a statement exclusively to WRGA ahead of tonight’s rally for President Donald Trump at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport.

It read:

“Tonight, President Trump will hold another one of his potential super-spreader rallies in Rome, Georgia, and will put Georgians’ lives at risk ahead of Election Day. Over 7,900 Georgians have lost their lives to COVID-19 and hundreds of thousands remain out of work because of President Trump’s failed leadership. President Trump still offers no plans to protect Georgians and has not presented any solutions to help Georgians who’ve lost their jobs in this crisis get back to work. Georgians know President Trump’s lies and divisive rhetoric are an insult to the hard-working people of the Peach state.”
