FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 20-year old Rome man was arrested late last week following an incident at his Clark Avenue residence.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Denise William Chastain strangled a woman with the intent to murder her.
He also allegedly hit a door causing less than $500 in damage.
The incident occurred in the presence of four children, according to the report.
Chastain is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass and four counts of 3rd-degree cruelty to children.
