COVID-19 report for Nov. 29

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Floyd County is now at a total of 5,048 positive COVID-19 tests since March, according to Sunday numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

That’s up by 21 from Saturday.

77 Floyd County residents have died, including one death which was reported Sunday.

Bartow County is at 4,481 cases, up 29 from Saturday and remains at 101 deaths.

Gordon County was at 3,070 cases, up 11.

Gordon County remained at 55 total deaths.

Polk County reported another death Sunday for a total of 33.

Polk County reported seven new cases for a total of 2,009.

Chattooga reported 1,126 cases up 4, and no new deaths, remaining at 31.

Statewide, there have been 420,601 positive tests since the start of the pandemic, 1,700 new confirmed cases on Sunday.

There were four more confirmed deaths for a total of 8,778.
