Rome City Commission to hold called meeting Friday

January 7, 2021–7:10 p.m.

STAFF REPORTS

The Rome City Commission will hold a called-meeting Friday afternoon to discuss the local mask mandate.

The current City of Rome face covering order is set to expire at 11:59 p.m. Friday.

The City Commission, in response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, approved the emergency ordinance on December 8.

It essentially requires a facial covering in public places when social distancing is not possible with some exceptions.

Friday’s called meeting will be held via Zoom at 1:30 p.m.
