A 13-year old was killed in an ATV accident in Polk County Saturday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the driver of the ATV was negotiating a curve on Tolbert Town Road and lost control of the vehicle.
The ATV overturned, ejecting a passenger.
13-year old Abrianna High died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The 16-year old driver of the ATV was injured.
The Polk School District issued a statement which read:
“The Polk School District grieves with our Rockmart Middle School family over the loss of Abrianna High, a 6th-grade student. Please join us in remembering her family and the Rockmart Middle School faculty and students.”
