Man accused of selling drugs to a confidential informant

A 35-year old Rome man is accused of selling drugs to an undercover informant back in November of last year.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Charles Edward Pollard III sold the methamphetamine to the confidential informant at a location on Maple Street on November 6 and November 11 and at Crane Street Park on November 12.

Pollard also allegedly sold synthetic marijuana to the informant during a controlled buy on November 12.

Pollard is charged with the sale of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance with the intent to distribute, and possession of drugs near a park or public housing.
