A 28-year old Rome man is facing charges of rape and obscene internet contact with a child.
According to arrest warrants, Christopher Haven Minter raped the victim back on March 26 at a location on Melton Avenue in Rome.
Minter is also accused of contacting a minor under the age of 16 on the internet and asking the child to participate in sex acts.
That incident occurred two days before the alleged rape, according to the warrant.
