15 COVID-19 deaths in NWGA reported Tuesday

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Floyd County reported five additional COVID-19 deaths from Monday to Tuesday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

231 Floyd County residents have now lost their lives to the virus since the start of the pandemic.

Floyd County also reported 64 new positive tests on Tuesday.

Bartow County reported two deaths and 45 positive tests while Gordon County had three death and 47 new cases.

Four deaths were reported in Polk County along with 35 new cases.

Chattooga County had 19 new cases and one death.

Statewide, there were 4,830 confirmed cases from Monday to Tuesday with 101 confirmed deaths.
