Floyd County reports three more COVID-19 deaths

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Floyd County reported three additional COVID-19 deaths from Friday to Monday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

244 Floyd County residents have now lost their lives to the virus since the start of the pandemic.

Floyd County also reported 128 new positive tests on Monday for a total of 14,474 since the start of the pandemic.

Bartow County reported three deaths and 109 positive tests while Gordon County had no deaths and 50 new cases from Friday to Monday.

Two deaths were reported in Polk County along with 66 new cases.

Chattooga County had 53 new cases and no deaths.

Statewide, there were 9,940 confirmed cases from Monday to Tuesday with 191 confirmed deaths.
