COVID-19 status reports for Wednesday

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Floyd County is up to 262 COVID-19 deaths, up from 260 on Tuesday.

According to the Wednesday status report from the Georgia Department of Public Health, 28 more Floyd County residents tested positive for a total of 14,906 since February of 2020.

Floyd’s two-week average of new cases is now at 716.

Bartow County saw two additional deaths and 30 new cases while Gordon County reported five deaths and 18 new cases.

Chattooga County saw seven new cases and one death.

Polk County had no deaths but reported 13 new cases.

Statewide, there were 127 confirmed deaths and 3,367 new cases in Wednesday’s report.
