COVID-19 numbers down slightly from Tuesday to Wednesday

281 more COVID-19 cases were reported in Floyd County from Tuesday to Wednesday, according to the latest status report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The new cases bring the total to 19,095 since the start of the pandemic.

We are now at 2,590 cases in the last two weeks.

Bartow County reported 130 cases Wednesday.

Gordon County had 38 while Chattooga County had 70 and Polk County had 93.

One additional death was reported in Gordon County.

Statewide, there were 13,307 new positives reported on Wednesday with 36 confirmed deaths.
