[VIDEO] New fire trucks delivered

CITY OF ROME

The Rome-Floyd County Fire Department recently showed off their two brand new trucks to members of the Fire Overview Committee.

A new tanker paid for with funds from the 2017 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, will be stationed downtown at Station One, while the current tanker there will be moved to Station 6 on Burnett Ferry Road.

In the video provided by the City of Rome, Fire Chief Troy Brock also spoke about the new Engine 7 which will be going to the Coosa fire station off Woods Road.

He said it is a new concept for engines for the future with a number of upgrades.
