A Rome woman is facing charges following a high-speed chase from Georgia into Cherokee County, Alabama last week.

Floyd County Police were pursuing the vehicle driven by 35-year-old Lynsey Beth Foster last Wednesday.

Cedar Bluff Officers joined the chase as it entered Alabama.

That vehicle hit spike strips that had been deployed near the Country Store, coming to a stop at Enon Grove Baptist Church, at which time she was placed under arrest.

Foster was booked in the Cherokee County Detention Center.

After her release, she was booked into the Floyd County Jail on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude and a probation violation.
