[VIDEO] Multiple vehicle Wreck involving Overturned Log Truck on Highway 411

On Thursday afternoon Floyd County 911 reported an accident in the area of Highway 411 just past East Rome Wal-Mart at the loop with multiple vehicles involved.

When first responders arrived at the scene they found a transfer trailer truck carrying logs had overturned and rolled onto the highway spilling the timber onto the opposite side of the road. Seven other vehicles were also involved.

Traffic inbound to Rome from Cartersville was blocked because of the logs in the roadway. Several other vehicles were involved.

911 dispatch initially did report injuries but the nature of those injuries is not known at the time of this report.
