More charges for a 53-year-old Rome man arrested in several armed robberies.
According to arrest warrants:
Edward Louis Crowder went into the Latina Food Mart at 702 Shorter Avenue on December 10 and robbed the business using a pistol.
He is charged with robbery and aggravated assault.
Crowder has been in jail since December 22 following his arrest in other robberies.
According to those previous reports:
He robbed the North Broad Food Mart on December 4 by pointing a firearm at the clerk and demanding money from the cash register.
On December 18, Crowder robbed the Redmond Food Mart using a fake, plastic rifle.
The following day, he robbed the Chastain Regency liquor store on North Broad Street at gunpoint, taking $700 from the register.
