Tuesday morning Shorter University held a press conference as a part of their SU Forward Day where they announced the speaker for the upcoming Shorter University President’s Gala.
Shorter Universities’ Dr. Don Dowless and Dr. Ben Bruce revealed that Hollywood star, Kevin Sorbo, will be the featured speaker at the 2024 President’s Gala on Thursday, December 5th.
Kevin Sorbo is best known for playing Hercules in the television series Hercules the Legendary Journeys. Sorbo also portrayed Captain Dylan Hunt in Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda, and also as Professor Jeffrey Radisson in the film God’s Not Dead.
All proceeds from the President’s Gala event will go to a student scholarship fund.
