The Floyd County Commission is expected to consider a request to approve a contract with Pennant Construction Management, Inc. for the Glenwood School renovation when it meets Tuesday night.
The approval would be contingent on the final legal review.
The former school property will serve as the new headquarters for the Floyd County Police Department.
The Rome City Police Department has already moved to a temporary location off Technology Parkway.
The joint law enforcement center downtown is being converted into additional courtroom space.
Tuesday’s commission meeting begins at 6 p.m.
The caucus begins at 3:30 p.m.
