A Garden Lakes man is accused of disrupting an adult education class at Georgia Northwestern Technical College in Rome by making aggressive gestures toward multiple students and threatening to kill people.

According to an arrest warrant:

21-year-old Jordon Devonn Mitchell exclaimed, “Kill everyone, slit their throats; kill people who have the devil, slit their throats!”

Witnesses told police that when the instructor left the room, Mitchell said “Kill them all. Just kidding, no I’m not.”

The incident occurred on February 3.

The next, when an officer called Mitchell to tell him he would not be allowed back on campus, he threatened to kill the officer.

During his arrest at his Lindsey Drive residence on Wednesday, Mitchell was told not to put his hands in his pockets but did so anyway.

Mitchell is charged with seven counts of terroristic threats and acts, and a single count of misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement.
