The Floyd County Board of Education is expected to appoint its newest board member during a called meeting on Friday morning.
Interviews were conducted earlier in the week, and the board has apparently made up its mind as to who will replace Chip Hood in Post 1, representing the Armuchee attendance area.
The called meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Floyd County School System’s Central Office on Riverside Parkway.
