Funeral services will be held this Saturday for a Pepperell Middle School student who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Silver Creek area last week.
Visitation for the family of 11-year-old Bentley Dean Beard will be from noon until 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church.
The service will follow at 3 p.m. with burial at the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
On Saturday, law enforcement and the community participated in an Honor Ride to escort Bentley back to Lindale.
