A second arrest has been made in the robbery of the Marathon gas station at 1901 North Broad Street on May 29.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
60-year-old Lamar Keith Dublin of Rome entered the store, pulled out a long gun or other offensive weapon, and forced the clerk to give him money.
He also grabbed the clerk by the hair and shirt, forcing her behind the cash register.
Dublin is charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Late last week, 36-year-old Cherieshia Sharnese Hayes was arrested on charges of being a party to the crime of robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
