A man arrested Sunday after allegedly assaulting a woman and pointing a gun at the victim’s two young children is facing additional charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
24-year-old Joahan Segura Caldera was found with methamphetamine, marijuana, glass pipes, and a fraudulent driver’s license.
Caldera used someone else’s identifying information to make the fraudulent ID.
He is now charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a fraudulent driver’s license, and identity theft fraud.
He is also being held without bond for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

A West Rome man was arrested at his Blankenship Place residence on Sunday and charged with three counts of aggravated assault and single counts of 1st-degree cruelty to children and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
24-year-old Joahan Segura Caldera assaulted a woman with a handgun and pointed the weapon at the victim’s children, threatening to kill them.
Both children are under the age of 12.
Caldera is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear in court.
