A local man is being held without bond after reportedly attacking another man with a machete at a location on Teat Street in Lindale earlier this week.
According to an arrest warrant:
48-year-old Gary Lamar Collins held the blade to the victim’s throat and stated that he was going to kill him and bleed him like a deer.
A witness verified that the incident occurred while walking to the store.
Collins is charged with a felony count of aggravated assault.
He is also being held on a probation violation.
