A Woodstock man was killed in a crash on I-75 that closed both the north and southbound lanes for close to three hours early Thursday morning.
Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton has identified the man as 40-year-old Benjamin Alsoft.
The Georgia Department of Transportation was alerted to the crash at around 3:30 AM, and Emerson Police Chief Kyle Teems told WBHF Radio in Cartersville that Cobb County Police were engaged in a high-speed pursuit related to this incident.
