Area residents will get to hear from candidates running for the Rome City School Board on Thursday.
The candidate forum, sponsored by One Community United, the People’s Agenda, the League of Women Voters, and the NAACP, will begin at 6 p.m. at the Rome Area History Center.
It will be moderated by Dan Bevels.
The nine candidates are Toni Blanchard, Brenda Boyd, Pascha Burge, Will Byington, Faith Collins, Marquita Davis, Karl Gyden, Alvin Jackson, and Ron Roach.
The forum is free and open to the public, and will be streamed online.
