A Town Hall meeting for residents of the Summerville Park community to discuss data centers is scheduled for Thursday evening.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Park View Baptist Church on Wesley Drive.
In August, the Rome-Floyd County Development Authority approved the sale of property in the nearby Battey Business Complex to Atlas Development for a data center.
Atlas’s obligation to purchase the property is contingent on certain approvals, including a final agreement with Georgia Power.
Thursday’s meeting will provide more information about the plans and allow residents of the neighborhood to ask questions.
