Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation invited the community to celebrate the season this past Saturday during the Ridge Ferry Holiday Fest.
In addition to the Tinsel Trail, an ongoing display of beautifully decorated trees, ice skating was available all day, and there was a holiday vendor market.
Of course, the always-popular candy cane hunt was one of the main attractions.
A Rome-Floyd County Fire Department truck was used to drop candy canes that were then collected by kids and their families.
Kids could also have their photos made with Santa.
Santa was also joined by several friendly mascots will host a festive Mascot Party with the first 600 kids receiving a basketball, football, or soccer ball.
