Chris Fincher, with Floyd County Emergency Management and the Coosa Valley Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, was in the WRGA studios on Thursday to give an update on Christmas with a Cop.
For more than 20 years, the program has helped provide Christmas for kids in need.
Fundraising efforts are continuing through the sale of t-shirts. You can get more information on the Coosa Valley FOP Facebook page.
They will also be selling t-shirts at Walmart.
A GoFundMe has also been set up.
Fincher also announced that there will be some holiday CPR classes next week at the EMA office at 409 East 12th Street.
AdventHealth will be teaching the free classes on Monday at 6 p.m. and on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
There is no pre-registration; show up at the time you want to attend.
