Construction on Rush Chapel Road is now complete. The road will remain open through the week; all detours have been removed.
The road was closed earlier this week for repairs ahead of a resurfacing project.
The Floyd County Commission recently approved a bid for the project, which includes 2.67 miles, using a rubber-modified asphalt mix.
The bid from Northwest Georgia Paving, Inc. is in the amount of $398,160.
