Man charged with aggravated assault in shooting incident
A Rockmart man is facing charges in a shooting incident that occurred on Woods Road in the Coosa area on August 2.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
24-year-old Davion Latrell Turner used a handgun to shoot at a man.
He also shot and damaged two vehicles.
Turner is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
Two charged with felony shoplifting
Two people are accused of stealing from CVS on Martha Berry Boulevard.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Kiuana Shontell Anderson and 35-year-old Ashyton Keldgian Weaver, both of Rome, walked out of the store with makeup, baby items and miscellaneous other merchandise without paying.
The value of the items was listed at $580.87.
Both Anderson and Weaver are charged with felony theft by shoplifting.
